A way to understand behavior without turning it into character.

HUMAN SYSTEM PROTOCOL™

Human System Protocol™ is a coaching framework for examining how behavior develops, why certain reactions or patterns keep returning, and where change can become possible.

The starting point is simple: behavior does not exist in isolation.

What someone does is influenced by what they detect, the meaning they assign to it, what the system expects, the amount of pressure present and the capacity and choice space available.

You do not need to understand HSP before you can work with it.

No diagnosis. No personality type.

What HSP is not

HSP does not attempt to divide people into types and does not provide psychological or medical diagnoses.

The framework looks at processes and circumstances: what input arrives, what meaning is assigned, what is expected, what happens under pressure, how much capacity and choice space are available, what behavior follows and what the system learns afterwards.

HSP describes access, pressure and system dynamics. It does not label the person.

Understanding does not remove responsibility

Responsibility remains

Making behavior understandable from a systems perspective does not make responsibility disappear.

A clearer view of what produces behavior can help examine more precisely where influence is possible, what belongs to you and what does not, which circumstances need to change, where repair is needed and which different response may become possible.

HSP is the perspective, not the goal

In coaching

You do not need to learn HSP terminology during coaching. We can simply begin with what is actually happening.

“This keeps happening.”
“This is where I get stuck.”
“This is happening in our team.”
“This is what I want to change.”

The framework then helps us examine what is happening more precisely and where a useful next step may lie.

Then you do not need to study the framework first. Briefly describe what is happening.
